Purpose
The Distinguished Service Award is to recognize outstanding service and dedication to NAADA, Inc. on behalf of Rick Daluge, Mauri Williamson, Chuck Lindley, Paul Appel and Bob LaPrad, the founders of the organization.

Eligibility
Any person who is employed by a NAADA member institution at the time of nomination and has been actively participating in the NAADA organization by taking a leadership role such as but not limited to serving on the Board of Directors, chairing a committee or hosting the annual conference. The recipient is encouraged to be present at the national conference to receive the award. This award may also be presented posthumously.

Description
The NAADA Awards Committee shall solicit and receive nominations for this award. The committee may select one recipient annually. The recipient will be recognized at the annual awards banquet held during the national conference June 6-9, 2010, in Athens, GA.

Nomination Instructions:
Two letters of recommendation must be included. Endorsement letters must be in pdf or Word documents.

Qualifications
A nominee should:

• Have been actively involved with NAADA and held a leadership role of some kind.
• Be a spokesperson for NAADA at his/her institution and in the industry.
• Have given his/her time to further the mission/goals of NAADA above and beyond the call of duty.

Letters of Endorsement
Two letters from fellow NAADA participants who can describe the nominee’s participation in NAADA and why they feel he/she is deserving of the award. Two letters of recommendation must be included. Endorsement letters must be in pdf or Word documents.
