Eligibility
Any person who has had a record of sustained giving and have through their gifts made a major contribution to research, teaching and/or extension programs in one or more NAADA member universities.

Description
The NAADA Awards Committee shall solicit and receive nominations for this award. The committee may select one recipient annually. The recipient will be recognized at the annual awards banquet held during the national conference June 6-9, 2010, in Athens, GA.

Qualifications (criteria in their order of importance:)
1. History of philanthropic support of any or all of the following: a. Agriculture, b. Agricultural higher education, c. Cooperative Extension, d. Land-grant university(ies) *

2. Willingness to serve as advocate for agriculture, agricultural higher education, Cooperative Extension, research, and NAADA member university(ies). *

3. Evidence of philanthropic spirit in areas beyond those listed above, i.e., community organizations, religious institutions, arts, environment, social services, etc. *
