The Made in Kentucky Tour

It takes a special place to craft the Official Bat of Major League Baseball. Since 1884, Louisville Slugger has put prime lumber in the hands of the greatest players of the game. A visit to the museum shows you how the sport has changed a bit between then and now, but the "crack of the bat" remains one of the sporting world's most thrilling moments. Guests will have the opportunity to see the bats being made and at the end of the tour, everyone will be sent home with a mini version of the Official Louisville Slugger Bat!

Our next stop will be Buffalo Trace Distillery. Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is expertly crafted in the time-honored tradition unique to bourbon. The Born and Bred Tour

Ever heard of a horse named Secretariat? Join us for a tour of the world-renowned Kentucky Thoroughbred farm, Claiborne, the burial site for the infamous Triple Crown winner. Arthur Hancock launched an operation which strongly influenced the path of American breeding in the first half of the 20th Century. In 1972, Seth Hancock, stepped up to make his own headlines when he syndicated Secretariat for a record $6 million. Seth has matched the parade of stallions acquired and managed by his father and grandfather, as such names as Mr. Prospector, Danzig, and Seeking the Gold took their places in history. Next we will visit WinStar Farm in Versailles, Kentucky. A farm is comprised of three things: Good soil, good horses and good people, and WinStar is fortunate to have all three. Second, with the stallions, broodmares, foals, yearlings and racing stable, they continue to build on an operation that is part of the upper echelon of the Thoroughbred industry. And last, but not least, are the people who look after the day-to-day business and long-term vision for WinStar Farm – WinStar has some of the best in the business.
