NAADA Connections

2020 NAADA

From the President

Renee Keese

NAADA is winding down 2019 and gearing up for 2020. There really never is a slow time. I hope many of you have taken advantage of a Virtual BBS Session, or checked it out the series on the website. This is a new offering for our membership, and we will have another session January 8th on Social Media Campaigns. Even though I’m traveling that day, I know I can go back and view the content, which is a plus!

The Executive Committee and full NAADA Board are all working in the background – planning for the 2020 conference so it will be a great educational experience. In January, we will ramp up our award nomination process. And stay tuned for a major announcement about 2021 – you will want to mark your calendars! If you are considering year-end giving, don’t forget about our NAADA endowments – you can help fund special projects or travel for volunteers.

I’m keeping this very brief – everyone is winding down, wrapping up projects in their offices and looking forward to spending time with families. I only have a few more days left in the office for 2019 but will be back January 2nd going full force. May you have enjoyable family time - no matter what holiday you celebrate, safe travels, and come back recharged for the new year!

Consider NAADA in Your Year-End Giving Plans

Your contributions to NAADA directly impact the NAADA family. 100% of contributions to our endowment funds are used in accordance with the fund agreements. In the past year, endowment funds have been used to:

  • Support educational programming at the NAADA Conference.
  • Fund the Jane Longley-Cook Volunteer Fellowship Award, used to encourage participation from our valued volunteers by offsetting registration and lodging costs to attend the annual conference.
  • Support the NAADA Individual Awards Program, including covering recipient travel costs (when requested).

As a registered 501c3, personal contributions to NAADA can be written-off on your income tax filing and can help lower your taxable income level.

When considering organizations to support at year-end, support NAADA.
